Promoting Innovation Behaviors in Small-to-Medium Sized Healthcare Settings
ATTENTION HEALTHCARE WORKERS: Research is being conducted as part of the requirements for degree completion in the area of leadership at the University of the Cumberlands. The purpose of this research is to identify leadership factors that influence employee innovation behaviors in small-to-medium sized healthcare organizations. The goal of the study is to highlight leadership practices that support innovation in processes and practices in the delivery of healthcare services.
For your participation in this study, you will be eligible to enter yourself into a drawing for one of 10 Amazon.com e-gift cards ranging in value from $5 to $25.
To participate in this study, you must be:
- At least 18 years of age or older AND
- Employed full-time or part-time in a healthcare* organization that has 499 or fewer employees and a homebase located in the United States of America AND
- You are directly supervised by an employee of that healthcare organization (i.e. your role with the healthcare organization is not Chief Executive Officer, Owner, or Executive Director) AND
- You have been employed at that healthcare organization for a minimum of one year.
If you elect to participate in this study, you will be asked to complete a brief online survey regarding leader and employee behaviors. There are minimal risks for participation and the total time commitment for participation in this study is approximately 10 – 15 minutes.
